Property Maintenance Review Board

About the Board

The Property Maintenance Review Board was established by Ord. 12-2021 to hear appeals for decisions, notices, orders, or other mandates issued under the North Canton Property Maintenance Code. This includes rental registration, code enforcement cases, and vacant property registration.

The board consists of five members appointed by the mayor for 5-year staggered terms.

File an Appeal

Appeals for consideration by the Board can be filed online through the City's online citizen services portal. Appeals must be filed within 30 days of the notice, document, or order being appealed. Appeals will be considered at a public meeting by the PMRB.

Board Meetings

Regular Board meetings are on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM. The Board may meet more frequently if needed.  Meetings are held at the North Canton Civic Center across from Price Park. All meetings are open to the public.
